"Kaun Thagwa" is written by the 15th century Indian mystic poet Sant Kabirdas. The song talks about the impermanence of the physical reality. The 'nagaria' or town in the song, symbolizes the body. The 'thagwa' or thug, is death itself. The spirit and body are like groom and bride, and the spirit tries it's best to hold on to the body. But it's efforts go in vain in front of death. At a spiritual level, the song is conveying that the spirit is starting is true journey to reach it's permanent abode, and therefore it's relationship with the world comes to an end.
